Her search for more effective and less invasive therapies led her to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine from which she graduated in 1989. She received CCNM's Award For Excellence in Homeopathy and took the three-year specialization course with the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy.

Autumn develops an individualized treatment program for each patient based on a full medical history, a problem oriented physical examination and various laboratory tests as indicated. She incorporates homeopathic drainage, classical homeopathy, clinical nutrition, herbs, emotional clearing, life style counseling, heavy metal detoxification, allergy elimination (NAET) and other modalities and techniques as needed.

Autumn regularly takes continuing education courses to update and expand her knowledge base. She has also lectured at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and at the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctor's annual convention.
